This Privacy Policy explains how Atis (the “Service” — the Atis Discord bot, the dashboard at atisbot.com, and related APIs) collects, uses, stores, and shares information. Atis is operated by Tellter SAS, a French société par actions simplifiée (RCS Paris 899 727 606) with its registered office at 9 rue des Colonnes, 75002 Paris, France (“we”, “us”) — the company behind Double Counter.
Atis is an AI-powered support assistant for Discord servers: a server’s staff write a knowledge base, and Atis answers support tickets automatically, escalating to a human when needed. This policy covers both server administrators who add and configure Atis and members of those servers who open support tickets.
Controller and processor roles
For a server’s ticket conversations and knowledge base, the server administrators decide what data is collected and why — they are the data controller, and we act as a data processor on their behalf. For your Atis account, the dashboard, billing, and the website, Tellter SAS is the controller. If you are a member of a server using Atis and want your ticket data changed or deleted, contact that server’s staff first; we will assist them.
Information we collect
Discord account & server data
Via Discord OAuth and the bot’s gateway connection we receive: Discord user IDs, usernames and avatars; server (guild) IDs, names and icons; role IDs; and channel IDs. Dashboard sign-in uses the Discord identify and guilds scopes only.
Message content inside support tickets
Using Discord’s Message Content privileged intent, Atis reads the content of messages only inside the support ticket channels it creates and manages, for two purposes: (1) to generate automated support replies, and (2) to build a transcript that the server’s staff can review after a ticket closes. Atis does not read, process, or store messages in any other channel, and does not use message content for advertising or profiling.
Knowledge base & configuration
Content that staff create in the dashboard — knowledge base categories and articles, taught facts, personas, ticket categories, and behavior settings.
Usage & technical data
Operational metadata such as ticket counts, AI token usage per server, timestamps, and diagnostic logs used to run, secure, and bill the Service.
Billing data
For paid editions, payment processing is handled by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers. We retain subscription and invoice metadata.
How and why we use data
- Provide the Service — run the ticket platform, generate AI replies from the server’s knowledge base, and produce transcripts. Legal basis: performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in operating the Service.
- Security & reliability — prevent abuse, debug, and maintain the Service. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
- Billing — meter usage and bill paid editions. Legal basis: contract.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your message content or knowledge base to train our own or third-party models.
AI processing & sub-processors
To generate a reply, the relevant ticket conversation and knowledge base excerpts are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic (the Claude API), which returns a drafted answer. Per Anthropic’s API terms, inputs and outputs submitted via the API are not used to train their models and are retained only for a limited period for trust-and-safety purposes.
We rely on the following sub-processors:
- Anthropic, PBC (USA) — AI model inference (generating support replies and ticket classification).
- Google Cloud (EU, europe-west region) — application hosting and database storage.
- Vercel — hosting of the website and dashboard.
- Stripe — payment processing for paid editions.
Storage, location & security
Service data is stored in the European Union (Google Cloud, europe-west). Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted to authorized personnel and systems, and secrets are held in a managed secret store. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
Data retention
Ticket transcripts and configuration are retained for as long as a server uses Atis, or until deleted by the server’s staff. If Atis is removed from a server, or on a verified deletion request, the associated data is deleted or anonymized. Diagnostic logs are kept for a short period.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including the GDPR and CCPA), you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or portability of your personal data, and you may object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email privacy@atisbot.com. Server members should also contact their server’s staff, who control that server’s data. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
International transfers
Some sub-processors (e.g. Anthropic, Stripe) are located in the United States. Where data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Children
Atis is not directed to children. You must meet Discord’s minimum age requirement (13, or higher where required by local law) to use the Service.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, communicated through the Service.
